Why not read a book by Patricia Polacco, a local author from Union City Michigan?
The goal of the Patricia Polacco Reading Program is to help girls learn to appreciate the stories and messages behind the writing of Patricia Polacco’s stories.
Chicken Sunday, is a good book for the Easter Holiday & Pysanky Eggs; The Keeping Quilt, is a wonderful story about a quilt and family traditions; and Thank You, Mr. Falker, an autobiographical story of Patrica Polacco’s struggle of not being able to read are her newest books.
