Born and raised in Bad Axe, Michigan, Sue has been a Girl Scout volunteer since 1987. She has worked with two troops from second grade through High School and has been an advisor for eight girls who have earned Gold Awards. “My camp name is Fire Starter and my favorite place to camp at Camp Merrie Woode is Sherwood.” She has worked in the Battle Creek office since Glowing Embers moved to the Roosevelt address in 1998. She likes to spend time with her grandchildren – taking them on adventures and teaching them to cook.
