Shayne was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan where she was a Girl Scout at St. Monica’s School.  She has a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University in sociology and is currently working on her master’s in public administration.  She enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching movies and working on various art projects.  Her favorite Girl Scout cookies are Tagalongs.
