Sandra was born and raised in the Benton Harbor/St. Joe, Michigan area.  She has been involved with Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts for 10 years before moving to Allegan in 2002.  She has been a Girl Scout leader in Allegan for more than three years. She and her husband Tim have two children, Tim Jr. and Anna. Her family enjoys camping, the beach and spending a good afternoon together. Her house is a rescue home for abandoned, abused and neglected animals. “Our proudest accomplishment so far was taking in a litter of motherless 2-day-old kittens and helping them survive.  Watching them go from just a few ounces each to more than 10 pounds each is very satisfying.  Then there is our work in progress, our cat Rajah.  Rajah was kept in a kennel for a few too many years and has no idea how to interact with anyone or anything.”
