Nancy was born in Kalamazoo and grew up in Plainwell, Michigan. She has been a Girl Scout for 45 years and is now a Lifetime member. “I worked at various camps each summer from 1971 until 2000. From 1990 through 2004 I worked for the Girl Scouts of Irish Hills Council in Jackson, first as the on-site person at Camp O’ the Hills year round and then as the Chief Operating Officer through February of 2005 when I took the on-site job at Merrie Woode. I am delighted to be back at Merrie Woode and excited about the direction in which the camp and Council are moving. The new construction at camp is going to lead to lots of new opportunities to better serve our membership. "In my spare time (oxymoron), I like to travel, read and spend time with friends and family."
