Janis Clark
Janis was born in New York, NY. She was a Brownie but when her family moved to Long Island she was not allowed to be in Girl Scouts because her family was “house poor.” She remembers peering in the windows of Parkway Elementary and watching the meetings take place. She attended the University of Buffalo and New York Law School and was admitted to the New York Bar in 1980. Some of her favorite things to do are “talk” (no surprise), travel, go to the beach, read, and attend the theatre. She is most proud of being Max’s mom. It depends on the time of day as to what her favorite Girl Scout cookie is. When asked what else she would like people to know about her she said, “I am a true eclectic in friends and interests. My cup always runneth over and there is always enough to share with a friend.  Will you be my friend?”
